Dawn has just finished working with another local artist, Gavin Darby of Frailloop on The Metal Age as part Excite Inspire Engage Erewash – an exciting two year project to explore  different art forms which is supported by Arts Council England and the Erewash Partnership.

Along with Anna Roebuck of The Making House, who worked with jewellery based items, and documented by Paula Moss from Orange Dot, Gavin and Dawn ran a series of workshops in local schools as well as at both The King George Gallery, and The Erewash Museum in Ilkeston to engage with the community .  Through this engagement with the community, two sculptures were developed which are being installed over the coming weeks, and this section of the project will culminate in a touring exhibition later this year.
